Enrolment Terms
Last reviewed: July 2026
These Enrolment Terms explain how enrolment with CAQA RTO, part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International initiative, works from your first enquiry on this website through to the issue of your qualification or statement of attainment. They apply to every person who applies to enrol in a nationally recognised qualification or skill set listed on this site, and to employers enrolling staff on their behalf.
Who enrols with us
Our students are adults across Australia studying online or in blended mode: first-time qualification holders, professionals upgrading to diploma and graduate diploma level, and workers meeting licensing or job requirements in fields such as work health and safety, property services, accounting and information technology. Courses are described on this website; enrolment is completed with our team, not through an online checkout, and this website takes no payments.
Step 1: Enquiry and pre-enrolment information
Start by submitting an enquiry through the contact page, calling 1800 266 160 or emailing info@caqa.com.au. Before you enrol, and before any fees become payable, you will receive a written Pre-Enrolment Information Pack and Enrolment Agreement setting out the training we will provide, all fees, costs and charges, and every obligation or liability that applies to you. We encourage you to read the Student Handbook and ask questions before signing anything.
Step 2: Suitability and entry requirements
We assess every applicant's suitability for their chosen course, including any training-package entry requirements and a language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy review, so that you start a course you can genuinely complete. Where a course is not suitable, we will say so and suggest alternatives. Reasonable adjustments are available for students with disability; tell us what you need and we will work through options with you.
Step 3: The Enrolment Agreement
Enrolment takes effect when you sign the Enrolment Agreement and we confirm your place. The agreement records your course, delivery mode, duration, fees and payment plan, and incorporates our Fees and Refunds policy, the Student Code of Conduct and our Privacy Policy. A cooling-off period applies: you may withdraw within 10 business days of enrolment, before commencing training, for a 100% refund of all fees paid.
Information we collect at enrolment
Through this website we collect only the details you submit in enquiry and newsletter forms. At enrolment we collect the additional information required by law and by the National VET Data Collection: identity and contact details, background information required by AVETMISS, your Unique Student Identifier, LLN review outcomes and, where relevant, evidence for RPL or credit transfer. How this information is used, disclosed and protected is explained in our Privacy Policy and on the USI and National Data Collection page. You must hold a verified USI before we can issue any qualification or statement of attainment.
Fees, payment plans and refunds
There are no enrolment or application fees, the advertised tuition fee is the total course cost, and we never hold more than $1,500 in prepaid fees at any time. You may pay upfront or by interest-free weekly or fortnightly instalments. If you withdraw after commencement you pay only for training delivered to your withdrawal date, with no withdrawal penalty fee; full rules, including provider-default protections, are in Fees and Refunds.
Deferral, withdrawal and cancellation
You may apply to defer your study or withdraw at any time by writing to info@caqa.com.au. Withdrawals are confirmed within two business days, a Statement of Attainment is issued for completed units where fees are paid and your USI is verified, and future payment-plan instalments are cancelled. CAQA RTO may cancel an enrolment for serious or repeated breaches of the Student Code of Conduct, but only after a fair process with a right of appeal through Complaints and Appeals.
Limits of this information
Course information on this website is general in nature and is not career, financial or migration advice. Completing a course does not guarantee employment, licensing or any particular outcome. Your signed Enrolment Agreement is the authoritative record of your enrolment and prevails over this summary if there is any inconsistency. The enrolment agreement template and pre-enrolment pack are available as PDFs.
